The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom offers a variety of ways to travel across Hyrule. You can travel on foot, horseback, or use a selection of random items or animals to reach previously unreachable heights.

Getting around is fun, but sometimes you want to do it quickly and efficiently without being bogged down by side quests and monster encounters. This is where a trusty steed comes in handy, and in Echoes of Wisdom, you can find one to ride right away.

After completing the Stilled Suthorn Forest dungeon, you will emerge back into Hyrule to find that rifts around the starting area have now subsided. After talking to the recently freed Minister Sadari and following her to Lueburry's Hut, you will be able to explore Hyrule to advance the main quest and close rifts located across the region.

The order in which you do things is up to you, and you can spend hours tackling side quests and collecting items instead of saving Link. But if you want to move around effectively, our advice is to head straight to Hyrule Ranch and get your hands on a horse. Fast travel or walk to the right of Suthorn Village - where you find the trampoline - and start heading north.

The ranch will be heavily signposted, so continue following them, and you will eventually end up in a small farm where a son, daughter, and father are standing around, surrounded by plants, and a trio of different colored horses. But it turns out one is missing..

Speak to the father of the farm, and you will automatically accept a quest to find a missing horse, with the conversation hinting that they can be found by heading west. After that, walk out of the farm and do just that, jumping a fence until you stumble upon a body of water with a platform in the middle where a horse awaits.

Retrieving the horse is simpler than you're probably expecting. All you need to do is hop into the water and ascend the platform, and then create a bridge for yourself and the horse to use as a way back to dry land. Jump aboard and ride him back to the farm, and you will then be able to take any of the three horses for yourself.
