Zelda: Echoes - Zora Temple Walkthrough
In "The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom," you'll journey with Zelda and Tri through Hyrule, encountering temples, ruins, and villages filled with puzzles and echoes to learn. The Zora need your help, and you'll need to unite them despite their differences.
With patience and creativity, you can assist the Zora in overcoming their problems and building a stronger community. We'll guide you through the Jabul Ruins and the final battle in Jabul Waters.
Reaching the Stilled Jabul Waters Rift
After defeating Lord Jabu-Jabu, you can swim to the open rift in his wake. Tri will create an opening for you to pass through, leading you directly into the Stilled Jabul Waters Rift.
Once inside the rift, move along the tops of the floating trees, then take the left bridge and swim through the floating blocks of water. Climb the pillars emerging from the water to reach the grassy platform above.
Upon reaching the top, jump to the next pond filled with fish. Avoid their bites while ascending, and use your newly-learned water-block echo to reach higher levels.
Continue moving upwards, scaling the water until you encounter a large bridge formed from the stilled Lord Jabu-Jabu! Cross over his body to access the Jabul Ruins just beyond.
Jabul Ruins Fountains
Inside the ruins, activate the waypoint to enable fast travel. As you progress down the corridor, the floor will collapse, dropping you into a watery chamber.
You'll need to swim down and bind Tri to large rocks to clear a path for yourself. Continue moving down through the sunken ruins until you encounter Vocavor, a giant shrimp-like beast.
Vocavor will create a waterspout and chase you through the ruins. You'll need to act fast to get away and avoid obstacles in your path. Once you reach the end of the path, climb up the ladder to escape.
In this new area, hop across the platforms to reach the staircase on the western side of the room. Once up the stairs, access the second waypoint and go through the door to the north.
Here, you'll find that there are five square fountains on the wall, and you'll need to activate them all to move forward.
The Pink Fountain
The first fountain is pink and can be activated by stepping on the button in front of you when you first enter the main chamber. The center square on the wall will light up, and a spout of water will emerge for a few moments before dissipating.
This is the easiest fountain to activate, but there are still four more to go.
The Blue Fountain
Take the path to your left after activating the pink fountain and descend the ladder into the next chamber. Dive down into the depths, lighting up anemones as you go so you can see.
Keep going west until you can't go any further, then go up to the top of the cavern. There, you can climb a ladder to escape.
In the next room, use your echoes to light all four braziers, but one is underwater. Attach Tri to it and lift it to the surface. Put it in the empty corner on the left, then light it to open the eastern door.
Press the blue button in the middle of the room to start the fountain in the main chamber.
The Red Fountain
From the main chamber, take the path to the right and go down the ladder. Jump across the wooden platforms and avoid the enemies in the water. Grab the dungeon map from a chest on the right, then dive underwater and go east until you find a ladder.
In the next room, dive under the iron bars to get to the open pool. Watch out for the enemies! Use your echoes to break the submerged wooden crate, then climb the stairs and use your echoes to reach the upper platform with a tightrope.
Keep going across the top of the room, walking along the ropes, until you reach the staircase on the west side. The door behind you will close, and you'll have to fight some enemies before the path ahead opens up.
Go through the door and press the red button to turn on the red fountain in the main chamber.
The Yellow Fountain
After activating the other fountains, the water will rise, allowing you to reach the wooden scaffolding by riding the spout. Follow the yellow line on the wall westwards.
In the next chamber, you'll face enemies while navigating waterfalls. Use either swimming or the platforms to reach the south of the falls, cross the middle, and head north. Enter the next chamber through the west door.
Here, you'll encounter five glowing eyes that need to be closed to open the sealed door. You can engage them in swordfighter mode or destroy them using your echoes. Three are on the platforms, one underwater, and one hidden behind the crates near the closed door.
Once all eyes are destroyed, the doors will open. Ascend the staircase, where you'll be trapped again and must defeat all enemies in the room. Once they're defeated, go through the east door and activate the yellow button.
The Green Fountain
The final fountain is reached by riding the water spout to the wooden platform and then following the green line on the wall to the right. Descend the ladder and swim through the depths.
Continue downwards until you find a large golden chest. Swim around it, then come up underneath and open it to obtain a big key, which is needed to unlock the boss door.
Move upwards and eastwards through a narrow canal past crates. You'll enter a room with shadowy fish that must be defeated before the next chamber opens.
To activate the green button, swim through the Bio Deku Baba plants and then drop a heavy echo, such as the boulder, onto the button. This will light up the final fountain.
Defeating Vocavor
Once all the fountains are activated, the water spout will reach the highest platform, where you'll find a locked door. Use the big key you found while searching for the green button to open the door and enter to face Vocavor.
Vocavor will send water spouts towards you, so move around them in the water to avoid getting hit. When Vocavor is weakened, use swordfighter form or your echoes to attack the blue nodules on its back. Keep attacking these weak points until it's defeated.
After defeating Vocavor, the rift will be repaired. You are now free to leave the temple at any time.
