Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom - Find the Fairy Fountain

Great Fairy fountains are a staple in The Legend of Zelda series, and Echoes of Wisdom features a classic mechanic that's crucial for players: a Great Fairy who upgrades your inventory for rupees.

Like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, the Fairy makes Zelda stronger for rupees, but you don't need monster parts. Here's where to find her in the open world.

The only Fairy Fountain in the game is located in the center of Lake Hylia. You need to clear a nearby rift to access it, but it's a frequent location after that.

Compared to past games, the Fairy Fountain is less extravagant. The Fairy is petite and understated, but still powerful and ready to help Zelda.

The main purpose of the Fairy Fountain in Echoes of Wisdom is to give Zelda extra accessory slots for items she finds during her adventure.

You start with one slot, and as you earn accessories quickly and need them for dungeons, extra slots are helpful.

The initial cost is 100 rupees, which increases to 300, 500, and so on as you earn more slots. So, be sure to have enough rupees to justify the visit.

We recommend finding the Fairy Fountain as soon as you can explore the open world freely. Make sure to grab some accessory slots for later use. It's risky to go into major dungeons without a few slots, you might end up relying heavily on smoothies.
