Zelda: Echoes - Lanayru Temple Green Goo Boss Guide

"The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom" features several mid-bosses throughout its dungeons, but many are easily defeated. Some require more strategy.

One such adversary is the nameless Green Goo found in Lanaryu Temple. While initially appearing unremarkable, it requires a specific approach to conquer.

This boss appears in the center of Lanayru Temple, blocking your path. The battle begins with the Green Goo emerging from a heated spring, providing a clue to its weakness.

The Green Goo utilizes various attacks, most avoidable. It frequently jumps into the air, leaving a shadow on the ground as a warning. Additionally, it throws rocks and unleashes a stream of scorching hot water, a deadly attack capable of killing echoes and damaging Zelda.

Upon entering the arena, the Green Goo immediately jumps and prepares to attack. Use a Freezard echo to counter this initial move.

Zelda's swordfighter form proves effective, as do echoes with wide-reaching attacks.

The Green Goo thrives in heat, requiring repeated freezing to inflict damage before it splits into multiple copies. You have limited time to attack before the freezing effect wears off, so maximize your damage output.

You'll face two goos initially, then four, and finally six. The last two are smaller and easier to defeat, but their small size makes freezing them tricky. Try to keep two Freezard or similar ice elemental summons around at all times.
