Zelda: Echoes - Cat Wisdom Walkthrough

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom lets players dress up as a cat and talk to them, similar to a Hylian Doctor Dolittle. This adorable costume might be one of the game's highlights.

After earning the ability to change outfits, Zelda can find quests for new costumes, scan amiibo, or discover rare items. The cat outfit is in Kakariko Village.

The cat outfit is earned by completing the 'Questing The Local Cats' quest in Kakariko Village, which becomes available after beating Ganon and the Hyrule Castle dungeon.

With costumes, Zelda can help villagers without disguise. Fast travel to Kakariko and talk to the old man near the village well.

He'll tell you about his missing cat and how an outfit lets people talk to cats. This fabric grants a superpower.

You need to find the woman with the costume, standing outside her house southeast of town. She won't give it up without a favor.

She wants you to dig up her 'secret stash' under the dirt near a windmill. A cat is blocking the spot. You need to lure it out with a grilled fish.

To get the outfit, use a Holmill to dig up the satchel. This will trigger a cutscene and grant you the outfit. Now, you can speak with cats and progress the quest. The next step is to find the old man's missing cat.

Equip the outfit and talk to the cat you just appeased with a fish. They will point you to other cats in Kakariko. Start with the cat on the roof of the house near the chicken coop. They will direct you to a cat on top of a windmill.

This windmill is located in the northwest part of town. The cat on the windmill is white and fluffy. Use water blocks or other echo combinations to reach them and talk to them.

You will then be directed to a tree on the outskirts of town. This is where the old man's cat is napping.

Immediately leave town and head east, following the dirt path. This will lead you to a tree with a cat on it. Talk to them and they will go home. Talk to the old man to complete the quest and receive ten bunches of grapes as a reward. Although the reward is small, the real reason for doing the quest was the adorable cat outfit.
