Warframe: Top 7 Archimedea Defense Frames

Deep Archimedea (and its more difficult variant, Elite Archimedea) is one of the more difficult challenges in Warframe, and many players will want to team up rather than attempt it solo. Deep Archimedea can impose restrictions on players, such as loadout limitations or other modifiers that significantly impact gameplay.
Because of these restrictions, you'll need to be prepared to use a variety of Warframes and, if playing on a team, try to fill a specific role. As with many challenging missions, survivability is paramount. Warframes that can withstand a lot of damage without support are valuable, as are Warframes that can provide support when needed.

Rhino, ranked 7th

One of the best Warframes for survivability, Rhino can take a heavy beating and keep charging through it. Rhino also has abilities that are helpful in various situations, from defense and offense to crowd control.
Rhino's Iron Skin significantly improves his survivability, making him invulnerable for a short time and increasing his damage resistance. Rhino's Roar ability boosts his and nearby allies' damage, and his Stomp is a great crowd control ability. Overall, Rhino is versatile and easy to fit into a squad.

Revenant, ranked 6th

Revenant is another durable Warframe, able to withstand a lot of damage without going down, while also fulfilling different roles. Revenant can make large groups of enemies less threatening, even turning them into allies, all while staying on his feet.
Revenant's Mesmer Skin redirects damage, stunning attackers. These stunned enemies can then be enthralled, forcing them to fight for Revenant and turning a horde into allies. Revenant can also enthrall enemies without using his Mesmer Skin for a lower energy cost. His Danse Macabre ability is a powerful crowd damage ability that can significantly impact a room, and any Thralls killed by it drop shield pickups.

Gauss, ranked 5th

Gauss is a multifaceted Warframe, able to stay alive in various ways, from damage mitigation to moving so fast that enemies can't hit him. Gauss has unique shield mechanics that enable him to recover quickly compared to other Warframes.
Gauss's Kinetic Plating absorbs incoming damage and converts it to energy, allowing him to constantly use his abilities. The plating prevents him from being knocked down, ensuring he can keep moving. This is crucial because movement charges Gauss's battery, improving his shield recovery rate and delay.

Trinity, ranked 4th

Trinity is a top-tier support Warframe, renowned for her diverse support abilities. Each of her abilities focuses on enhancing herself or her teammates, offering healing regeneration, energy regeneration, or damage mitigation. She is a valuable asset in a group, enabling allies to perform their roles with less concern for their well-being.
For healing, Trinity utilizes Well Of Life and Blessing. Well Of Life generates a healing aura around enemies, restoring health to nearby allies and granting additional healing for damaging the enemy. Blessing directly restores health and shields to allies while briefly reducing incoming damage. However, Trinity is more than just a healer; her Energy Vampire ability provides energy over time, allowing allies to use their own abilities more frequently.

Wisp, ranked 3rd

Wisp is an exceptional support character who offers a unique approach compared to Trinity. While not solely focused on support, Wisp can hold her own, bridging the gap between support and independent characters.
Wisp's motes attach to herself and allies, providing various benefits based on their type. These benefits include increased health and healing, improved movement and attack speed, and more. Wisp also possesses the ability to turn invisible while in midair, ensuring her safety. Her Sol Gate is a powerful damaging ability, particularly effective against single targets with high health.

Oberon, ranked 2nd

Oberon blends crowd-control and damage capabilities with support abilities, making him adaptable for various scenarios. Passively, Oberon grants teammates 25% Health, Shield, and Armor links. However, his support goes beyond this.
Oberon can fire a healing wave, regenerating allies' health over time. Beyond his support abilities, Oberon possesses several damage-dealing abilities, primarily focused on attacking multiple enemies simultaneously. One of these abilities, Reckoning, stuns multiple enemies, creating a health orb upon their death, allowing for convenient healing opportunities.

Citrine, ranked 1st

Citrine is a Warframe that effectively blends support and offensive capabilities. Her passive ability automatically regenerates health for herself and allies, with the regeneration rate increasing based on health orbs collected, up to a maximum of 25 health per second.
Her Preserving Shell grants her and nearby allies a protective shell that strengthens with each kill or assist, providing increased damage reduction. Her Fractured Blast ability enhances the chance for enemies to drop health or shield orbs when hit. Additionally, her other abilities inflict either guaranteed critical damage on stunned enemies or multiple negative status effects on enemies simultaneously.
