Terry's Secret Power Geyser Input in SF6

Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury has joined Street Fighter 6 this week, and fans have already found a secret input for his Power Geyser.
Instead of the two backwards quarter circles, Terry players can input his classic Power Geyser input (quarter circle back, down-back, forward, and heavy punch plus medium kick) for a special version.
This alternative input even gives you a visually different Power Geyser, which matches the one performed in the Fatal Fury series.

Street Fighter 6 welcomed its first ever guest character, Terry from Fatal Fury, who is now fighting in Metro City. Like all characters added since release, players are quickly mastering Terry, discovering long combo chains for competitive play.

Street Fighter 6 fans have already discovered a secret input for Terry's Power Geyser super move, a nod to his Fatal Fury origins. First discovered by Twitter user Maneater_DGR, Terry has two input options for Power Geyser. The first is the standard Street Fighter 6 input: two backwards quarter circles followed by a punch.

Terry's Power Geyser in Street Fighter 6 Uses the Classic Input

The second input, however, is the classic Fatal Fury input. If you input a single backwards quarter circle, followed by down-back, forward, and then heavy punch and medium kick together, you'll activate a special version of Power Geyser that more closely resembles the classic Fatal Fury version.

While this alternative input might not be useful in most situations, it's a fun reference to Fatal Fury and shows Capcom's respect for Terry's origin series. This is a good sign for future guest character additions, especially with Mai's upcoming arrival this winter.

Capcom has clearly put a lot of effort into each Street Fighter 6 character, as seen with Akuma's secret supers activated by a special taunt that involves eating a rice ball. With Mai's addition, we can expect even more hidden secrets to uncover, and I'm excited to see what they are.
