Garden Witch Life: Farming Guide & Tips
Garden Witch Life is about finding a new life that will impress your parents. While there are side quests and a story, farming is a big part of the game.
Every farming game has its own quirks. You'll need some tips to learn how to farm effectively in Garden Witch Life. The game uses specific tools to provide crop information.
Farming Crops: A Guide
Seeds are planted using Y or Triangle on the controller. You can place seeds anywhere and there's no grid system. This allows for creative farm designs, even using furniture.
Focus on watering and fertilized soil. The treehouse has a well. Press A or X at the well to refill your watering can. Watering is like drawing on the ground, not splashing tiles.
Your first craft should be a Compost Bin. This requires ten Grass, one Plank, and one Raised Bed. Place Plant Matter in the Compost Bin to make fertilized soil.
Fertilizer is placed like any other item. Fertilized soil turns the ground a dark brown, unlike watered soil.
Aurel, the capybara at the general store, sells regular fertilizer. It costs one coin.
Crafting Magic Lens: A Step-by-Step
The Magic Lens is essential for farming in Garden Witch Life. It allows you to see detailed information about your plants and animals.
With the Magic Lens, you can view information about each crop, such as its season, watering and fertilization status, and harvest time.
The most important information is how long each crop takes to harvest. You can use the Magic Lens to check the progress of your crops daily.
Crop Market: Where to Sell Your Harvest
There are two places to "sell" items: the MagiBuy machine in the center of town and the Community Box next to Aurel. The MagiBuy machine's purpose is unknown, as items sell for one gold coin regardless of their value.
Sell valuables at the Community Box to earn revenue. Items sell for their real value here, but it takes a couple of in-game days for them to sell. You will have to wait longer to earn money.
Seed Acquisition: Getting More for Planting
You can acquire seeds from NPCs or at Aurel's general store. Aurel sells all non-mining items, including seeds, tree saplings, animal goods, and furniture.
A Comprehensive List of Crops
Crops are seasonal and have varying harvest times. The Magic Lens helps you understand your crop's health and growth.
