Bring Me The Horizon's *Ludens* was a popular song featured in the original *Death Stranding*. It resonated well with the game's themes and became associated with Hideo Kojima's complex game.
Lead singer Oli Sykes told *TheGamer* that the band won't be creating a song for the sequel, *Death Stranding 2: On The Beach*.

When asked about the possibility of a new song, Sykes simply said "No".
His short response could mean he is unable to comment, but his straightforwardness in other interviews suggests he may be telling the truth.
Bring Me The Horizon's history with Kojima is intriguing. Though they initially expected a legal challenge from the developer, they eventually collaborated on *Ludens*.
Sykes revealed that the band had just over a week to write, record, and submit the song. He said, "From the moment we got told to the moment we had to hand it in was about ten days. When we handed it in, we were like, 'no idea, this could be terrible.'"
Although the song proved to be a success, Sykes didn't receive much direction from the *Death Stranding* team. He said, "I just did a deep dive on, at the time, there wasn't an awful lot of information about what it was about, apart from Ludens and the idea of it meaning player and meaning hero and stuff."
Bring Me The Horizon's POST HUMAN: NeX GEn is available now. The physical release will be available on September 27.
