Dark Link Boss Guide: Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, like any game in the series, has many boss fights. Unlike Link, Zelda doesn't have a sword in her adventure.

In the Stilted Suthorn Forest, Zelda faces Dark Link with only a few echoes. With the right strategy, players can win and gain new abilities.

Dark Link is the first major boss in Echoes of Wisdom. He is not very difficult, but his attacks can hurt Zelda.

Players should stay above Dark Link on the rocks to avoid his attacks. There are pots around the arena that can heal Zelda.

At the start of the fight, players should run to the tall grass on the left to hide from Dark Link. Then, summon Darknut behind Dark Link. Darknut will attack Dark Link and deal damage. Players should move around Dark Link and keep summoning echoes until they need to retreat.

After taking damage, Dark Link enters his second phase. He is faster and stronger. Players need to defeat him quickly.

Players should hide in the grass and repeat the tactics until Dark Link is defeated. Dark Link will attack Zelda if she is alone, so keep summoning echoes to draw his attention and deal damage.

Don’t summon your echoes directly in front of Link because he’ll block most of their attacks with his shield and then kill them.

When defeated, Link will drop a sword that you can pick up to learn Zelda’s Swordfighter Form. Activate it and cut through the gooey wall at the end of the room to continue through the dungeon.

Next up is the Seismic Talus, which is a bit more challenging to defeat.
