How To Counter
Three-Hit Combo
Once the Destined One enters the temple, Zhu Bajie executes a three-hit combo, sweeping their Rake in left, left, and right directions. The second variant changes the final hit with a jump smash.
Wait for Zhu Bajie to hit the combo and make a dodge in the opposite side of their weapon's direction. Or, you can dodge backwards and wait for the combo to end. For the second variant, dodge backwards if you see them leaping.
Two-Hit Smash
Zhu Bajie will charge up (as indicated by a short tornado below him) and smash their rake twice at the Destined One.
If caught within the tornado's range, you will be stunned and unable to move until Zhu Bajie attacks. If done correctly, you can dodge at right, and for the second hit, dodge left.
Acid Spit
Zhu Bajie will immediately spit out acid from their mouth with two variants: Three or five spits simultaneously.
Before they spit the acid, they will thrust forward. That is your queue to fall back and locate the openings through the spits.
Spinning Tornado
Once in a while, Zhu Bajie starts spinning with immense speed to become a tornado and circles around the arena randomly.
While the tornado's pattern may be random, you must stay in the middle of the arena and dodge in any direction if Zhu Bajie tries to approach you.
Leap Combo
While the Destined One attacks Zhu Bajie aggressively, they will suddenly leap in mid-air and smash their weapon with a delay. After the leap, they will try to hit the Destined One, followed by a dropkick.
Once Zhu Bajie leaps, make a sudden dodge right and backwards rhythmically. When they recover, stay patient for an incoming attack and dodge right. In the end, for the dropkick, you can dodge either left or right (not backwards).

How To Counter
Downward Smash
In the arena before the fight, Zhu Bajie can be seen flying around the arena. When the Destined One enters the arena, they will make a turn and smash themselves down for an agonizing attack.
Enter the arena and run around until Zhu Bajie comes down, and dodge right to provide yourself with an attack window.
Five-Hit Combo
The basis of the combo strings remains the same as the first battle, but Zhu Bajie also throws acid from their hands.
As their attacks try to reach you, you may dodge either left or right.
Fish Transformation
In the Tar field, Zhu Bajie randomly turns into a fish that rolls over the Destined One.
This is entirely random; dodge forward to exploit the invincibility frames.

How To Counter
Tar Explosions and Rams
Zhu Bajie will loudly scream, causing the Tar on the floor to boil and explode, followed by multiple attempts to ram the Destined One.
When Zhu Bajie stands on their two legs, they will scream. Look for the spots from where the Tar blows and avoid them. Suddenly, just before Zhu Bajie approaches you, make a perfect dodge at right. After the rams, Zhu Bajie will fall to the ground, giving you a huge window for a full normal-hit combo.
Tar Transformation
Occasionally, Zhu Bajie will turn into a Tar version of the giant boar, summoning other Wild Boars for multiple ram charges.
Make a dodge right when the Tar Wild Boars almost hit you, and you will automatically simultaneously dodge all the other Wild Boars.
Back Kick
Zhu Bajie will turn their back on the Destined One to land a massive dual-leg kick on their face.
You can dodge either left or right; backwards also works, but it's risky.
