Black Myth: Wukong - Loong Scales Location Guide

In Black Myth: Wukong, players encounter numerous boss fights throughout the story. Many are on the main path, but optional and secret bosses are also found during exploration.

Each game chapter includes a certain number of secret bosses, often found through character questlines, hidden areas, or specific item requirements. This is the case for the Loong Scales.

Locating Loong Scales

Loong Scales is a crucial key item needed to face four secret Loong Dragon boss fights in the game. Players can acquire it as early as Chapter Two.

Starting at the Sandgate Village - Village of Despair Keeper’s Shrine, head into the cave ahead and continue forward.

Move to the left and drop down until reaching the area where the First Prince of Flowing Sands is fought.

Here, a destructible wall is on the side. It can be broken in two ways:

If the First Prince of Flowing Sands hasn't been defeated, try to **lure him into charging against the wall** during the boss fight.
If the boss has been defeated, use the Wandering Wight spirit attack acquired from Chapter One to break the wall.

Once you've broken down the wall, you can interact with it to uncover a secret room. Inside, you'll find a chest holding the Loong Scales. This important item is needed to challenge the four Loong Dragon bosses:
