Black Myth: Wukong - All Skandha Locations Guide

Although Black Myth: Wukong heavily features boss battles, the game offers significant exploration opportunities across its six chapters, enhancing the main storyline.

While exploring, players can uncover various secrets like character quests, optional areas, and hidden bosses. They might also encounter key items with unclear purposes, such as the Skandha items.

Where to Find the Skandha of Form

In Chapter One's Forest of Wolves - Front Hills, after passing through the gate, follow the path towards an open forest area. Move to the left side of the forest until you find a character near a rock who then flees.

Interact with the rock to acquire the first Skandha, known as the Skandha of Form.

Where to Find the Skandha of Feeling

To obtain the second Skandha item, players must defeat the secret boss Shigandang in Chapter Two. However, before the boss spawns, they must defeat the Stone Vanguard and collect all six Buddha’s Eyeballs.

After fulfilling these conditions, return to the area where the Stone Vanguard was defeated and interact with the large rock to initiate the fight against Shigandang. Upon defeating the boss, players will receive the Skandha of Feeling.

Where to Find the Skandha of Thought

In the Valley of Ecstasy - Mindfulness Cliff, proceed to the wooden bridge. Approximately halfway across the bridge, look down to your right and drop down.

Move left and follow the path until you find the character near a stone head like the one from Chapter One. Interact with it to obtain the Skandha of Thought.

Where to Find the Skandha of Choice

Starting from the Webbed Hollow - The Purifying Spring shrine, follow the main path forward until you reach the water area.

From there, head left, where you’ll see the same character on top of a Buddha head. Interact with the head to obtain the Skandha of Choice.

Where to Find the Skandha of Consciousness

The only way to obtain the Skandha of Consciousness is by acquiring all four previous Skandha, which are required to spawn the secret boss fight against Giant Shigandang in Chapter Six.

To access the boss location, start from the Foothills - Verdant Path Keeper's Shrine. Use the Somersault Cloud spell to fly and head towards the large lake.

Make your way to the waterfall cave where you obtained the staff during the story progression, and just opposite, you’ll see a path leading to a desert-like area.

At the end of this path, you’ll spot a gigantic rock that will begin moving, triggering the boss fight with Giant Shigandang.

After defeating Giant Shigandang, climb up the boss to collect the final Skandha, called the Skandha of Consciousness.

How to Handle the Skandha Item

Now that you have all five Skandhas, return to the medicine man Xu Dog at the Zodiac Village and choose the option "Show the Five Skandhas."

Then, select "Make Five Skandhas Pill" to gain a +20 boost to your Health, Mana, Stamina, Attack, and Defense stats.
