While the JAK Lance Kit's range and attachment options limit its versatility, mastering it can lead to easy multikills in core Multiplayer. This guide explains how to unlock the JAK Lance Kit and provides the best attachment combinations for this conversion kit.

Unlocking the JAK Lance Kit

Unlocking the JAK Lance Kit requires completing five challenges from the second set of Season 6 weekly challenges. The set has 21 challenges in total. If you don't own the MX Guardian, you can get it through Armory Unlocks.

The JAK Lance Kit transforms the MX Guardian into a close-range sniper rifle. Its shots are one-hit kills anywhere on the body, but the projectile velocity is extremely low at 110 m/s. This makes close-quarters combat essential for getting kills. Therefore, this build prioritizes ADS speed and mobility.

The JAK Slash underbarrel is the best mobility attachment, providing a significant boost to sprint speed and vertical recoil. For further mobility, we use the MX DCP-0 stock, and the Kimaru RYL33 Laser Light enhances ADS speed. With all four attachments, the ADS time is 194ms.

We don't use a fifth attachment because all muzzle options have drawbacks, and all optics strangely reduce ADS speed to 300ms, a significant nerf. We recommend leaving the final attachment slot empty until the optics issue is fixed.

The MX Guardian has a limited ammo reserve, so the Modular Assault Rig is recommended for increasing ammo capacity. For perks, consider Running Sneakers and Commando Gloves to eliminate sprint-to-fire delays, Compression Plate for fast healing after a kill, and Ghost to stay off the enemy radar while moving.
